Hello Newcastle Families!

I had such a wonderful time at Popsicles with the Principal and truly enjoyed meeting so many of our new Newcastle families! It was a great way to kick off the school year and begin making new connections.
A huge thank you to our amazing teachers and incredible WEB leaders for giving our incoming 6th graders such a fun, memorable, and welcoming start. Your enthusiasm and kindness made a lasting first impression!
Our classrooms are getting ready, and we are so excited for the first day of school! If you happen to be on campus, please remember that classrooms are closed at this time. We want to respect our teachers’ time so they can focus on preparing their rooms and making sure your child’s first day of school is a memorable and successful one.
To find out who your child’s teacher is on the first day of school, please make sure you have completed your Aeries Data Confirmation. Teacher assignments will only be available once this process is complete.
Interested in volunteering at Newcastle? We love having our families involved! All volunteers must complete the required mandated volunteer training and submit the appropriate new or returning volunteer paperwork. These requirements must be completed every school year before volunteering.
We can’t wait to see everyone on Thursday for the first day of school! With the warm temperatures, please send your child with a labeled water bottle so they can stay hydrated throughout the day.
A reminder that the first week of school can be very busy, especially during drop-off and pick-up. Please plan extra time and be patient as we work together to create safe and smooth routines.
TK and Kindergarten students: Drop-off and pick-up will take place at the loop. Please help your child begin practicing their morning and evening routines so they are well-rested and ready for a fantastic first day!
We are so excited for the year ahead and cannot wait to see our Knights shine!
See you Thursday!

Important Information

In preparation for the 2026-2027 school year:

If you haven’t already done so, please begin the Data Confirmation process! All parents/guardians are asked to complete the Data Confirmation process by July 30th! Once Data Confirmation is complete, you will be able to see your student’s teacher assignment beginning 7/31/26. Click HERE for assistance with Data Confirmation.

School Office Hours - The school office will reopen from 7:30 - 3:30 on Friday, July 31st. We will remain open during the work week to provide assistance, except for August 4th, when all staff will be engaged in professional development. On August 5th, the office will open at 1 pm. Feel free to stop by or call us at 916-663-3307 with your questions. We are looking forward to seeing you!

Missing Immunizations - All students with missing immunizations must complete them by August 1st. The office has contacted those families who are missing the required shots. Unfortunately, students will not be able to start school on August 6th if they have not cleared their required immunizations. If you have not already done so, please turn in a copy of your child’s current immunization report to the school office.

Medications - All medications must be brought to the school nurse's office in the original pharmacy-labeled container before the start of school. A completed authorization form, signed by both the parent/guardian and the prescribing physician, must accompany the medication. A new authorization form is required each school year.
