Dear Newcastle Families,

I am happy to share that at yesterday's Special Board Meeting, the Board of Trustees approved the choice of Mrs. Danielle Fee as the next Principal of Newcastle Elementary Charter School. This will be effective on July 1, 2026.

Mrs. Fee has experience as a principal for Transitional Kindergarten through 8th grade. Her school setting is similar to Newcastle. She also has a strong focus on students and is committed to building good relationships with students, staff, and families. During the selection process, she showed thoughtful leadership, good communication skills, and a style of working together that fits well with our school community.

We had many good candidates. We are thankful to the staff and parent representatives who took part in the interview process and gave helpful feedback.

We look forward to welcoming Mrs. Fee to Newcastle. We will share ways for our community to meet her in the next few weeks. Thank you for your continued support of Newcastle Elementary School.
